We have several interactive groups at Heart of God meant to suit a variety of needs.  Some are age specific while others are small and mighty meeting in a home.  Look for a group that fits you!!  We look forward to having you join in.

YOUNG ADULTS

Ranging from 18 thru 35, young adults are just entering the servant hood position within the body of Christ. There are both single and married people involved. They spend time together in fellowship, social activities, and study the Word as it specifically applies to their unique situations.

The goal of our young adults is to take their place within the body of Christ in a meaningful, effective way, serving and leading wherever God places them. They meet for Bible Study and plan a social outing or event at least every other month. They have a lot of fun together without falling for any of the world’s ways of “fun”.

The young adults invite you to come have fellowship and fun!

ACHIEVERS

 This group of singles and married folk range in age from 36 thru 55. They have a ball fellowshipping and playing together. That age group have growing or grown children, single, married, from many walks of life, and make a colorful collage of life experience to draw from.

YOUNG AT HEART

 Don’t be fooled; this is the most active group of people in the church! Age 56 and beyond, Young@Heart are not only socially active with each other, they are very active in the community. They haven’t even begun to slow down!

HOME GROUP

Several years ago we formed several small groups within the church to go through "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. We continue to meet in at least 1 home each week.

The purpose of the small group is to gain a closer bond with each other and to improve our walk with Jesus in a more intimate setting. In being a part of Heart of God Fellowship as a whole, the small group, and our individual quiet time, we are able to better ensure a very well rounded spiritual growth and maturity! At the beginning and end the evening, we spend time fellow shipping around the kitchen table with goodies to nibble on, sharing prayer needs and taking time to pray for one another, our church, our Pastor, Outreaches, and our President and government leaders; also, any other prayer requests. Then we spend time in a teaching. The group is very interactive, each person having a perspective to offer and that causes growth in all of us.

Ever so often we have “socials”; ice cream, watermelon, BBQ, theme dinners, field trips, etc. Occasionally the group will go to a particular family’s house and help with remodeling, clean up, etc.

Small group is a good thing. Come and join us!
